Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • medium sized prawns 200 gms


  • crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp


  • white wine 1 tsp


  • soy sauce 1 tsp


  • oil for frying 2 cups


  • cornflour 1 tbsp


  • breadcrumbs 1 cup


  • egg beaten 1


  • oyester sauce 1 tsp


  • chilli flakes 1/2 tsp


  • salt to taste 1 tsp

Directions

  • deshell the prawns leaving the tails
  • mark a cut in the middle of each prawn
  • marinade the prawns with chilli flakes,salt,black pepper,soy sauce,oyester sauce,white wine and salt for at least half an hour
  • coat the marinated prawns with cornflour
  • beat the egg in a bowl with some black pepper
  • take one prawn piece and dip it in the egg and then coat in breadcrumbs
  • heat oil in a frying pan and fry these prawns till golden brown
  • remove on a kitchen napkin to soak excess oil
  • serve hot with sauce
