Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 500 grams mutton


  • 2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste


  • 2 tomato


  • 1 onion


  • 1 tablespoon chilli powder


  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder


  • 1 handfull of curry leaves


  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon clove powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • 1 tablespoon curd(optional)


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 2 tablespoon oil

Directions

  • In a cooker heat oil add ginger garlic paste fry till raw smell goes.
  • Add onions and fry till translucent.
  • Add diced tomatoes and salt. Fry for a minute.
  • Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, cinnamon and clove powder. Mix well and fry till nice aroma.
  • Add washed mutton and curry leaves. Cook on medium flame, mutton will start cooking in tis own juice. When the mutton stars getting dry add little water(approximately 1/2cup) and curd. Close the cooker lid and cook for 4-5 whistles.
  • If you want to have dry mutton cook till water dry after opening the cooker or else serve as it is juicy mutton.
