Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 8 pieces of chicken


  • 3/4 cup thick curd


  • 1/4 cup cream or malai


  • 1 tsp pepper powder


  • 1 tsp salt or to taste


  • 2 tsp garam masala


  • 1-2 tsp cornflour- optional


  • 2 tbsp butter or oil for frying


  • 1-1/2 tsp garlic paste

Directions

  • Wash the chicken. In a bowl add all the ingredients except oil. Marinate the chicken in it for 1/2 hour.
  • Heat butter in a non stick pan and fry the marinated chicken., turning it after every 5 minutes .
  • Keep adding butter and the leftover marinade on the chicken pieces every now and then till the chicken is done.
  • Garnish with some butter or sprinkle some Cheese on Afghani chicken .
  • Serve it with chutney of your choice.
  • Afghani chicken can be made with boneless pieces as well.
