Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 8 pieces of chicken

  • 3/4 cup thick curd

  • 1/4 cup cream or malai

  • 1 tsp pepper powder

  • 1 tsp salt or to taste

  • 2 tsp garam masala

  • 1-2 tsp cornflour- optional

  • 2 tbsp butter or oil for frying

  • 1-1/2 tsp garlic paste

Directions

    Wash the chicken. In a bowl add all the ingredients except oil. Marinate the chicken in it for 1/2 hour.

    Heat butter in a non stick pan and fry the marinated chicken., turning it after every 5 minutes .

    Keep adding butter and the leftover marinade on the chicken pieces every now and then till the chicken is done.

    Garnish with some butter or sprinkle some Cheese on Afghani chicken .

    Serve it with chutney of your choice.

  • 06

    Afghani chicken can be made with boneless pieces as well.
