Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 1 cup gram flour (besan)


  • 1/2 cup rava


  • 1/2 cup curd


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds


  • 5-6 slitted green chilly


  • 1 tbsp green coriander finely chopped


  • 6-7 curry leaves


  • 1 packet eno ( fruit salt )


  • 1 tbsp oil

Directions

  • Mix rava,besan and curd and make a thick batter by adding water
  • Add salt and keep it covered for 5 mins
  • Add eno salt and transfer the batter in greased plate
  • Heat water in dhokla maker and place the plate in it and cook for 10 mins
  • Take it out and let it cool.While it is cooling make tempering
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok and add mustard seeds and sesame seeds as it splutter add curry leaves,green chilly and red chilly powder and stir for a while
  • Cut dhokla in pieces and put it in wok in which tempering is made mix it nicely so that it is coated well
  • Switch off the flame and add chopped coriander and enjoy with green chutney or sauce
