Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • For waffle:- 2 cup dhokla flour (1 cup rice, 1/2 cup chana dal& 1/4 cup toovar dal)


  • 1 cup curd


  • 1 tsp oil


  • 3 tsp ginger garlic green chilli paste


  • 1/2 tsp haldi powder


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tbsp fruit salt-eno


  • 1 cup chopped mix vegetables ( carrot, green peas, capsicum, palak and methi)


  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves


  • For stuffing: - 1 tbsp each green chutney, tomato ket chup,


  • 5-6 tomato slices


  • 5-6 cucumber slice


  • 5-6 onion slice


  • 2 cheese slice


  • For serving:- 1/4 cup coriander mint dip


  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce

Directions

  • Grind coarsely rice and all lentils in a mixer grinder.
  • In a big bowl combine dhokla flour, oil, and salt and curd and mix well.
  • Then add some hot water and mix well
  • Put mixture in some hot place to get fermented. It may take 5-6 hours deoends the weather.
  • After 6 hours your batter is ready. Batter should be a pouring consistency.
  • In a big bowl add the batter, all chopped vegetables and spices and mix it well.
  • Now add the baking soda-eno and mix well.
  • Take a silicon waffles mould and grease it and pour the prepared batter in the cavity and level it.
  • Steam it in a steamer for 10 minutes or till done.
  • Remove moulds and cool them and then remould.
  • Take a one waffle and spread green chutney evenly and other waffle soread tomato sauce evenly.
  • Put slice of tomato, onion, cucumber and cheese slice one by one.
  • Sprinkle chat masala on it. Cover with another waffle each.
  • Serve with drinks, chutney and dip.
