Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Raw banana 10 no. 1 boiled potato Salt as per taste Fine chop onion 2 tbsp Fine chop green chili 1 tbsp Fine chop ginger 1 tbsp Fine chop coriander leaves 2 tbsp Red chili powder 2 tsp Coriander powder 1 tbsp Cumin seeds 1 tsp Clove powder 1/4 tsp Cinnamon powder 1/4 tsp Green cardamom powder 1 tsp Roasted gram flour 2 tbsp Dry mango powder 1 tsp Lemon juice 2 tbsp Ghee 1 tbsp Oil for shallow frying


  • For filling :- Dry dates or chuhara 8 nos. Cashew nuts 10 nos. Ginger 2 inch piece Green chili 2 nos Salt 1 pinch for serving :- Green chutney Onion rings

Directions

  • Filling Procedure  :- Soak the chuhara for 10 minutes in warm water. Now remove the seeds and fine chop them. Chop the cashew nuts, ginger and green chili.  Mix well with salt and keep aside.   Kababs Procedure :- Wash and boil the banana for 15 minutes.  Grate the potato.  Cool completely then peel the skin and grate them. Heat ghee in a pan add cumin as they splutter, saute the ginger and green chili . Now add chopped onion fry until light golden . Add grated banana, salt, red chili powder,  dry mango powder, lemon juice, gram Flour, clove powder, cinnamon powder and green cardamom powder, stir and mix it well. Cook for 5 minutes, switch off the gas. Cool the mixture, mix coriander leaves, divide the mixture into equal portion add a tsp filling in each kebab and cover nicely so that the filling does not come out. Heat a non stick pan and fry them until golden and crisp. Serve hot with green chutney and onion rings
