Ingredients

Chana Daal: 1 Cup/250 Grams
Onion: 1 Large (Finely chopped)
Garlic: 1/2 Tablespoon (Grated)
Ginger: 1/2 Tablespoon (Grated)
Green Chillies: 6 (Finely chopped)
Curry leaves: 10 (Finely chopped)
Cilantro: 1 Cup (Finely chopped)
Fennel seeds: 1 Tablespoon
Cumin seeds: 1 Tablespoon
Red Chili Powder: 1 Tablespoon
Turmeric Powder: 1 Tablespoon
Salt: 2 Teaspoons/As per taste
Oil: 1 Cup
Directions
Soak Chana Daal for an hour.
Drain the water & grind to a coarse batter.
Mix all the above ingredients except the oil.
Heat oil in a wok.
Make lime size balls & fry over medium heat until golden. Place on absorbent paper towels.
Serve hot with Green Mint-Coriander Chutney/Tamarind-Dates Chutney/Sweet Chili Chutney.
