Ingredients

Serves 2

  • Chana Daal: 1 Cup/250 Grams

  • Onion: 1 Large (Finely chopped)

  • Garlic: 1/2 Tablespoon (Grated)

  • Ginger: 1/2 Tablespoon (Grated)

  • Green Chillies: 6 (Finely chopped)

  • Curry leaves: 10 (Finely chopped)

  • Cilantro: 1 Cup (Finely chopped)

  • Fennel seeds: 1 Tablespoon

  • Cumin seeds: 1 Tablespoon

  • Red Chili Powder: 1 Tablespoon

  • Turmeric Powder: 1 Tablespoon

  • Salt: 2 Teaspoons/As per taste

  • Oil: 1 Cup

Directions

    Soak Chana Daal for an hour.

  • 02

    Drain the water & grind to a coarse batter.

  • 03

    Mix all the above ingredients except the oil.

    Heat oil in a wok.

  • 05

    Make lime size balls & fry over medium heat until golden. Place on absorbent paper towels.

    Serve hot with Green Mint-Coriander Chutney/Tamarind-Dates Chutney/Sweet Chili Chutney.
