Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Besan 1 bowl


  • Suji 1/2 bowl


  • Curd 1 bowl


  • Eno 1 tsp


  • Oil 1 tsp


  • Rai 1 tsp


  • Water 4 cups


  • Sugar 6 tsp


  • Salt 1/4 tsp

Directions

  • In a bowl mix besan , suji ,curd
  • Make a batter with water
  • Keep aside for 15 minutes
  • Add eno
  • Mix well
  • Pour the batter in greecced idli molds
  • Add 1 glass water in idli stand
  • Keep the molds in hot water
  • Cover iy
  • Cook for 15 minutes
  • on medium flame
  • Demold idli
  • Tadka
  • In a pan add oil rai water ,salt , sugar
  • Boil for 5 minutes
  • Add lemon juice when it is luke warm
  • Dip the idli in this water
  • Press lightly
  • Place in a platters
