  • 300 gm boneless chicken

  • 1 tbsp onion paste

  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste

  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste

  • 5 tbsp curd

  • 1 tsp vinegar

  • 1 & 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 small piece charcoal

  • 1 tsp clarified butter


  • In a bowl marinate the chicken with vinegar, onion paste ginger-garlic paste and salt.
  • Leave it for 10 minutes.
  • Heat a nonstick pan in high flame.
  • Add the marinated chicken in the hot pan.
  • Cook the chicken in high flame for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes turn the chicken for cooking on another side.
  • Again leave for 5 minutes and cook it.
  • After that sim the gas and cover it for 10 minutes.
  • Open the lid and turn the chicken for Cook properly until all the marination dried.
  • Now turn off the gas and take out the chicken roast in a bowl.
  • In this bowl place a small bowl with hot burning charcoal.
  • Now add the clarified butter on the charcoal and cover the bowl with a lid for 5 minutes.
  • Now your chicken dahi roast is ready to serve. garnish with chopped coriander and serve with curd dip and onion slice and lemon.
