Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 1/3 cup semolina

  • 1/2 tsp. salt or to taste

  • 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1-2 green chilies

  • 1 tsp. ginger, grated

  • 2 tbsp. coriander leaves, chopped

  • 1/8 tsp. baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp. red chili flakes

  • 1/2 tsp. roasted cumin powder

  • 2 cups oil to deep fry

Directions

    In a bowl, mix together all the above mentioned ingredients (except oil) and keep aside for 10-15 minutes.

    Heat oil in a pan and drop spoonfuls into it in batches and fry them on a medium flame till golden in colour.

    Drain on a tissue paper and relish as a snack with your evening tea.
