Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 1 cup yellow moong dal

  • 1/2 cup chana dal

  • 1 spoon ginger and green chilli paste

  • 1 spoon salt or as per taste

  • 1 pinch asafoetida

  • 1/2 spoon turmeric

  • 1/2 cup grated reddish

  • 2 spoon chopped coriander leaves

  • 1 cup oil

Directions

    Wash and soak the lentils for 3-4 hrs.

    After that grind the lentils without water.

  • 03

    Now add salt, turmeric, asafoetida, grated reddish, green chilli and ginger paste.

    Mix well and make batter fluffy.

  • 05

    Add 2 spoon hot oil into the batter and mix again.

  • 06

    Heat oil in a wok and make a small size ball from batter and deep fry until golden brown colour and crisp on midium flame.

    Serve hot with chutney.
