Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • urad dal 1 & half cup


  • chopped onion 2 tablespoon


  • chopped green chilli 1 teaspoon


  • chopped coriander leaves 1 tablespoon


  • Hing powder 1 pinch


  • black pepper powder 2 pinch


  • Chopped curry leaves 4 to 5


  • cumin seeds 1 teaspoon


  • salt 1 teaspoon


  • baking soda 1 pinch


  • cooking oil 1 and half cup

Directions

  • Soak urad dal for 6 to 7 hours or overnight
  • take blended jar add soaked urad dal blend it into a croarse paste
  • take a kadai add oil to it, let it heat
  • in a mixing bowl add blended dal, hing powder, black pepper powder, salt, cumin seeds
  • mix all these ingredients and beat it well
  • now add chopped onion, green chillies, Curry Leaves, coriander leaves and baking soda
  • mix it well
  • take small dumpling add in a hot oil
  • fry it until golden brown colour
  • drain vada on kitchen tissue to remove excess oil
  • serve the Vada with tomato sauce or any sweet chutney
