Ingredients

Serves 4

  • urad dal 1 & half cup

  • chopped onion 2 tablespoon

  • chopped green chilli 1 teaspoon

  • chopped coriander leaves 1 tablespoon

  • Hing powder 1 pinch

  • black pepper powder 2 pinch

  • Chopped curry leaves 4 to 5

  • cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

  • salt 1 teaspoon

  • baking soda 1 pinch

  • cooking oil 1 and half cup

Directions

    Soak urad dal for 6 to 7 hours or overnight

  • 02

    take blended jar add soaked urad dal blend it into a croarse paste

  • 03

    take a kadai add oil to it, let it heat

  • 04

    in a mixing bowl add blended dal, hing powder, black pepper powder, salt, cumin seeds

    mix all these ingredients and beat it well

  • 06

    now add chopped onion, green chillies, Curry Leaves, coriander leaves and baking soda

    mix it well

  • 08

    take small dumpling add in a hot oil

  • 09

    fry it until golden brown colour

  • 10

    drain vada on kitchen tissue to remove excess oil

  • 11

    serve the Vada with tomato sauce or any sweet chutney
