Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 4 medium tomatoes fresh and ripe, cut in halves


  • 2 jalapeños just skin or add the entire chilli with stem removed for more heat


  • 2 green chillies fire roasted


  • 2 cloves garlic chopped


  • 1/3 cup or 1 big onion chopped


  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice fresh


  • 2 tablespoons lime juice


  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin grounded


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder


  • 1/3 cup cilantro leaves fresh

Directions

  • Chop the tomatoes roughly into small chunks.
  • Add the jalapeños, chillies, garlic, onion, lemon and lime juice, cumin, salt, garlic powder and cilantro leaves to the chopped tomatoes.
  • Blend all together for just 2 seconds until texture is coarsely smooth or chunky as desired.
  • (This will happen very quickly.)
  • Season the salsa as per your liking.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite nachos or chips or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate.
  • The salsa can last up to 2 days when refrigerated.
