Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 1 Cup Sabudana/Sago/Tapioca

  • 1 large potato, boiled and mashed

  • 2 tablespoon peanuts, roasted and crushed

  • 1/2 Teaspoon ginger grated

  • 2 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves

  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

  • 1 green chilly chopped

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Directions

    Firstly, in a large bowl take 1/3 cup Sabudana and soak with double amount of Sabudana for 3 hours.

    Drain off the water and rest for 30 minutes, allowing to drain off the water completely.

    Now take the soaked sabudana in a large bowl.

    Add boiled and mashed potato.

  • 05

    Add chopped coriander leaves, peanut powder, ginger paste, chopped green chilly, cumin seeds, black pepper and salt to taste.

    Mix and mash well with your hand. Grease your hand and take a small portion and make a small ball.

    Grease appe pan and put sago ball. Cook till golden brown from both sides.

    Add green chutney and tomato sauce in shots glasses. And sago bites. Serve hot along with masala tea.
