Garlic cloves 5
Onion powder 1/2 teaspoon
Oregano 1 teaspoon
Salt according to taste
Water 1/2 cup
Olive oil 1/2 tablespoon
Add tomatoes, garlic, jalapenos, salt, and water into a blender. Blend it smoothly.
Heat olive oil in a sauce pan on medium high. Add puree into this pan. Simmer and cook, until the mixture completely changes color from light red to deeper red . Add oregano and onion powder too . Remove from heat.
Let it cool completely and store in sterilised mason jar. It will remain best for 8 days in refrigerator.
Serve this salsa with nachos, chips, snacks or any fritters.
