Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups tomato puree


  • 1 cup basmati rice


  • 1/2 cup American corn


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 chopped Capsicum


  • 1 finely chopped onion


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala


  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder


  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste


  • 1 teaspoon chopped coriander leaves


  • 2 green chillies finely chopped

Directions

  • Soak the rice for half an hour
  • In a pan add some oil and tomato puree and water as needed
  • Let it boil
  • add Cinnamon stick tej patta and clove
  • Add 1 tablespoon of Ghee so that rice will not stick with each other
  • When water absorbs from rice swich low the flame
  • Cover it with lid after 5 minutes switch off the flame and rice is ready
  • Now in a Kadai add 2 tablespoon of oil
  • Add finely chopped onion green chillies
  • Saute it for 2 minutes
  • Now add finely chopped capsicum and corn
  • Add ginger garlic paste and Garam Masala
  • Saute it for two minutes
  • Now add boiled tomato rice
  • Mix properly and Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves
  • And tomato rice is ready
