Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Salmon: 2 Cans/400 Grams


  • Potatoes: 3 Medium (Boiled & Mashed)


  • Red bell pepper: 1/2 (Chopped)


  • Onion: 1/2 Small (Chopped)


  • Cilantro: 1/4 bunch (Chopped)


  • Green chillies: 10 (Chopped)


  • Egg: 1 (Beaten)


  • Salt: 1 Teaspoon/As per taste


  • Bread crumbs: 1 Cup


  • Cooking oil for frying: 2 Cups

Directions

  • Drain & flake the Salmon with the help of a fork.
  • Combine all the above ingredients (except oil & bread crumbs) in a bowl.
  • Place bread crumbs in a plate. Shape salmon mixture into croquettes about 3 inches long & 1 inch wide.
  • Roll croquettes in bread crumbs to coat. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes or until set. *Makes about 18*
  • Heat oil in a Wok/Kadhai over medium-high heat.
  • Carefully place croquettes in oil, 3-4 at a time. Deep fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden. Drain on paper towels.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
