Ingredients

  • onion medium size 2


  • finely chopped green chilli 1 tablespoon


  • besan or gram flour 6 tablespoon


  • salt 1 teaspoon


  • baking soda 1 pinch


  • turmeric powder 1 teaspoon


  • roasted cumin powder 1 teaspoon


  • Nigella seeds 1 teaspoon


  • cooking oil 8 tablespoon

Directions

  • wash peel and very finely chopped the onion in half moon shape
  • place this in a big bowl and add salt
  • Mash with your hands so that juicy start to came out from the onion
  • then add chopped green chilli and Nigella seeds rub in your hands
  • add all other ingredients expect with oil
  • mix well and start adding water one teaspoon at a time
  • the better would be thick and should coat the chopped onions well
  • heat oil a non-stick Tawa and place a tablespoon full of the mixture
  • keep the flame to medium heat
  • after a minutes Turn The fritters and press gently with your spatula to flatten them
  • fry till crips on both sides then take out the fritters
  • Serve hot with tea or coffee
