  • All purpose flour 1 cup

  • Besan 1/2 cup

  • Clarified butter 3 tbsp

  • Salt 1/2 tsp

  • For stuffing Roasted white sesame seeds 2 tbsp

  • Roasted poppy seeds 1 tbsp

  • Grated coconut 1/2 cup

  • Fennel seeds 1/4 tsp

  • Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp

  • Coriander powder 1 tsp

  • Red chilly powder 1 tsp

  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

  • Tamarind pulp 1 tsp

  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp

  • Sugar 2 tbsp

  • Oil 1 cup

    Take a large bowl add all purpose flour,gram flour,salt and clarified butter and mix well. With the help of chilled water make a dough. Keep aside for 30 mins. Dry roast the sesame seeds,poppy seeds and grated coconut one by one. Once cooled grind coarsely. Take a bowl add coriander powder,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder,cumin seeds,fennel seeds,salt,sugar,imli pulp and roasted sesame seeds mixture and mix well. Now bhakarwadi stuffing is ready Now roll the dough just like chapati Grease with oil on the chapati and spread the filling on the chapati and roll it and seal the edges Cut the bhakarwadi into small pieces. Heat enough oil in a pan Place the bhakarwadi lower the heat and fry till light brown.
