Blanch the tomatoes and then puree them
In a pressure cooker,heat oil or ghee.
Add cumin and fenugreek seeds and asafoetida. Add curry leaves.
Add the tomato puree and mix well.
Add rice ,cubed potatoes,salt and green chillies and mix well.
Add enough water and then close the cooker.
Cook on high flame for 2 whistles and then on low flame for 15 minutes.
Let the pressure go off and then serve hot.
