Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • Red Ripe Juicy Roma Tomatoes 10


  • Oil 1 tbsp + 3 tbsp


  • Nigella seeds 1/2 tsp


  • Garlic pods 8-10


  • Fenugreek seeds 1/2 tsp


  • Black mustard seeds 1/2 tsp


  • Cumin Seeds 1/2 tsp


  • Nigella seeds 1/2 tsp


  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp


  • Kashmiri Red chilly 1 tsp or to taste


  • Degi mirch / Chilly Falkes 1 tsp or to taste (for color enhancement)


  • Coriander powder 1 tsp


  • Salt 1 tsp or to taste

Directions

  • Heat 1 tsp oil a pan.
  • Add Chopped tomatoes and salt to it. Cover it and cook for 5-7 minutes and switch off the flame. Cool it.
  • Add this to mixer and blend it.
  • Heat 3 tsp oil in a pan, add all the mentioned seeds and chopped garlic to it.
  • Add tomato paste and all the spices to it and mix well.
  • Cook it for 5-7 minutes or until it leaves oil. Once done switch off the flame.
  • Tomato pickle is ready to serve with Indian breads or with your choice of dish.
