Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • Soya chunks 3 cups


  • Potatoes 2


  • Onion 2


  • Ginger garlic paste 2tsp


  • Turmeric 1tsp


  • Coriander powder 1tsp


  • Garam masala 1tsp


  • Cumin powder 1tsp


  • Chilly powder 1tsp


  • Bread crumbs 1cup


  • Corn flour 2tbsp

Directions

  • Boil 4 cups of water and soak the soya chunks for 10 mins.
  • Now take some fresh water and squeeze out the water from soya chunks and dip in the fresh water.
  • Repeat this process 4-5 times.
  • Now boil some potatoes and keep it aside.
  • Take a blender and blend the soya chunks. Adding few drops of water or as required.
  • Now take a pan heat some oil and add chopped onions.
  • Fry for a min and now add ginger garlic paste.
  • Saute for few seconds.
  • Add little amount of water to it and cook till the raw smell goes.
  • Add all the masalas and mix it nicely.
  • Smash the potatoes well and add to the pan.
  • Add blended soya chunks .
  • Cook till the water fully evaporates. And it starts getting sticked to pan.
  • Turn off the flame. Cool down. Make tikkis.
  • Now dip in the corn flour batter and then roll it in the bread crumbs.
  • Keep it in fridge for few minutes.
  • Shallow fry each cutlets well.
