Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 4 boiled potatoes


  • 1/2 cup maida


  • 1 tablespoon Suji or rawa


  • 2 numbers tomatoes


  • 1/2 teaspoon carom seed


  • 1/2 Teaspoon salt


  • 2 bread slices


  • 1 tablespoon chopped green coriander


  • 1 Green chilly chopped


  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste


  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala


  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 cup oil for frying

Directions

  • Mash the boiled potatoes
  • Add green chilli coriander leaves salt Garam Masala ginger garlic paste and bread slices
  • Mix all ingredients properly and make small size rolls
  • Now in another bowl mix Maida Suji carom seed salt red chilli powder and tomato puree
  • Add 2 tbsp oil and knead it
  • Make a medium hard dough
  • Now take a small size dough and roll it in oval shape
  • Now cut it with strips from length side
  • Do not cut it from edges
  • Now put the potato roll in the middle side of the strips.
  • Now roll it from the both side of edges
  • Seal the edges properly
  • Now deep fry these cage in medium hot oil
  • When it turn golden colour take it out from the oil
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce
  • And the tomato cages are ready
