  • . You Need: Chicken wings, preferably without skin. 5 ripe tomatoes. 1 Onion, finely chopped. Garlic pods. Freshly ground pepper. A little red chilly powder. A little turmeric.


  • Rub salt, pepper, chilly and turmeric on the chicken wings. Keep aside. Make a cross cut on the skin of the tomato in the side opposite the “eye”. The laceration must be only skin deep. Boil water, drop in the tomatoes. The tomatoes must be fully submerged in water. Leave them on medium heat for about 5-6 minutes. Remove. When cool, remove the skin and the eye. Those lacerations would help in easily peeling the skin. Puree the tomatoes and keep aside. Heat a little oil and saute the chicken wings in it. When they get a little brown, spread them out into the shape of a doughnut. In the space now open in the middle add the onion and garlic. Let them cook till their raw smell is gone. Add in the tomato puree and cook covered for about 10 minutes. Open and switch the stove to high heat. Reduce the sauce to your preferred consistency. Enjoy.
