Ingredients

  • 16 betel leaves

  • 1 cup besan

  • 1 spoon chilly powder

  • 1 spoon salt

  • 1/8 spoon turmeric

  • 1/2 spoon each of ajwain and jeera

  • 1/2 spoon dhania powder

  • 250 gram oil

Directions

    mix besan, chilly powder, salt to taste, dhania powder and turmeric

  • 02

    heat two spoon oil splutter jeera and ajwain and mix with besan mix

  • 03

    add sufficient water to get bajji consistency batter

  • 04

    fold the betel leaves length wise, dip in the batter

  • 05

    deep fry in hot oil on medium flame

  • 06

    serve hot with sauce or chutny
