Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 pack frozen puff pastry, thawed


  • 1 large tomato, sliced thinly


  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded


  • 1/8 cup mozarella cheese, shredded


  • 1/8 cup cheddar cheese, shredded


  • 1 tsp garlic powder


  • 1 tbsp dried parsley


  • 1 tsp dried chives


  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste


  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes


  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400 deg f (200 deg c).
  • Combine all the dry herbs and spices with olive oil in a small bowl.
  • Combine all the cheeses together in a bowl and toss lightly.
  • Line a baking with ovenproof parchment paper. Roll out the puff pastry on to the parchment paper.
  • Cut the pastry in 6 equal sized squares.
  • Brush the squares with oil infused herbs. Lay a single tomato slice in the center of the square.
  • Overlap two ends of the pastry tightly. Repeat procedure for the rest of the squares.
  • Brush the pastry with remaining olive oil on the outsides of the pastry.
  • Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.
  • Serve with your choice of dip or sauce.
