Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • Roasted groundnuts 200 grams


  • Cornflour 2 tbsp


  • Maida 2 cups


  • Hing 1 pinch


  • Salt 1 tsp(adjust as per taste)


  • Red chilli powder as preferred or 1/2 tsp


  • Oil for deep frying or 250 grams


  • Chopped onion 1 big


  • Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp

Directions

  • Peel off the skin of groundnuts by mashing in between your palms.
  • In a bowl add the maida and cornflour. Add salt red chilli powder . add the chopped onions and coriander leaves
  • Mix well adding some water. Make a dropping batter. It should not be runny.
  • Add the groundnuts in the batter and coat well with the batter.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai. Drop the spoon full of batter in the oil. Cook equally on both sides till the pakoras are crisp.
  • Remove the pakoras and keep aside. Serve as appetizers.
