Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 4 ripe medium sized tomato


  • 6 green chillies


  • 10 pods of garlic


  • 1 spoon salt


  • 1 spoon chilly powder


  • 4 flakes tamarind


  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander for garnish


  • 2 spoon oil


  • 1/8 spoon turmeric

Directions

  • keep all the ingredients. dry roast gingelly
  • heat oil add turmeric, slit green chillies, garlic pods, tomato, tamarind, chilly powder and salt
  • grind the gingelly first
  • add the sauted tomato mixture and grind. no need to add water
  • garnish and servewith rice, rotis, idli, dosa etc
