Ingredients
Serves 4
1 cup maida
2 tbs wheat flour
4-5 tbs ghee for moin
1/2 tbs salt
1/4 tsp carom seeds
1 cup oil for frying
3-4 boiled potatoes
1/4 tsp haldi powder
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp cumin powder
2 tbs chopped corriander leaves
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp heeng/Asafoetida
1/4 tsp Amchoor powder
2 chopped green chillies
Directions
For potato stuffing take 3 to 4 boiled potatoes and roughly mash them.
Now in a pan add 2 tbs of oil..after heat up add cumin seeds and heeng then boiled and mashed potatoes.
Now add haldi powder,cumin powder,salt,red chilli powder,garam masala and Amchoor powder,green chillies and mix well..keep it on flame for 5 to 7 mins.
After that switch off the flame..sprinkle some corriander leaves and mix well..
Keep it aside to cool down completely..
Now in a bowl add maida and 2 tbs wheat flour in that add carom seeds,salt and ghee mix well.
It should hold shape..
With the water..make a little hard dough and cover it..keep it aside for 15 mins.
Now make balls from the dough and start rolling it like a poori.
Then take it out at your palm and keep 1 full tbs of potatoes stuffing upon that and close it from another side applying water like gujia shape.
Now apply water at the corners too and paste from one corner to another corner gently..
So it will be in the shape of momos..
Heat up oil in a wokon medium flame and start frying them untill nice golden brown in colour.
Take them out in a tissue paper and serve hot with green corriander chutney or tomato ketchup..and enjoy
