Moroccan Grilled Fish Kebab

Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 500 g firm fledged fish fillet


  • 4 tbsp olive oil


  • 1 teaspoon paprika


  • 3/4 teaspoon salt or to taste


  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric


  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper


  • 1 teaspoon onion powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder


  • 1-2 garlic cloves minced


  • 1-2 tbsp lemon juice


  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro

Directions

  • Cut fish fillet into 1 inch pieces and add into a bowl
  • Add 3 tbsp olive oil and rest of the ingredients in bowl. Marinate fish well
  • Rest aside for 1 hour
  • Preheat grill to medium heat or alternatively heat grill pan
  • Grease the grill pan with olive oil if using it
  • Grill fish fillet for 10 minutes turning occassionally brushing tops with olive oil
  • Once it turns opaque and flaky, switch off
  • Serve hot. This is plain fish fillet, you can use veggies like onions, bell peppers and cherry tomatoes too for additional taste
