Moroccan Grilled Fish Kebab

Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 500 g firm fledged fish fillet

  • 4 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 3/4 teaspoon salt or to taste

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1-2 garlic cloves minced

  • 1-2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro

Directions

    Cut fish fillet into 1 inch pieces and add into a bowl

  • 02

    Add 3 tbsp olive oil and rest of the ingredients in bowl. Marinate fish well

  • 03

    Rest aside for 1 hour

  • 04

    Preheat grill to medium heat or alternatively heat grill pan

  • 05

    Grease the grill pan with olive oil if using it

  • 06

    Grill fish fillet for 10 minutes turning occassionally brushing tops with olive oil

  • 07

    Once it turns opaque and flaky, switch off

  • 08

    Serve hot. This is plain fish fillet, you can use veggies like onions, bell peppers and cherry tomatoes too for additional taste
