Moroccan Grilled Fish Kebab

  • 500g Firm Fish fillet

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 3/4 teaspoon salt or to taste

  • 2tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

  • 4 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

  • 2 garlic cloves minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper


  • Cut fish into 1 inch pieces
  • Add all the ingredients to fish and marinate well
  • Rest aside for 1 hour in refrigerator
  • Preheat grill to medium heat. Thread fish into skewers
  • Grill kebabs on medium heat for 10 minutes turning occassionally. Alternatively grill the fish on Grill pan. Grease grill pan, place skewers and grill both sides
  • Once fish is opaque and flaky, switch off
  • Serve hot with sauce or mayonnaise or mint chutney
  • This is plain fish fillet optionally veggies like onions, capsicum or cherry tomatoes can also be added to fish and grilled. If adding veggies, fish and veggies should be of same size
