Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • Chicken 400grms


  • Potatoes 4


  • Chana dal 2cups


  • Ginger garlic paste 2tsp


  • Turmeric 1tsp


  • Red chilly powder 1tsp


  • Coriander leaves 1/4th cup


  • Mint leaves 1/4th cup


  • Bread crumbs 2 cups


  • Egg 1

Directions

  • Wash the chicken and keep them aside.
  • Wash the potatoes and peel and cut them into cubes.
  • Wash the chana dal and keep it aside.
  • Pressure cook all the three ingredients with salt and turmeric.
  • Two whistles or till cooked.
  • Open the lid and again turn on the flame and cook till water evaporates.
  • Add red chilly powder, ginger garlic paste, chopped onion and cook it.
  • When the water evaporates switch of the flame.
  • Add bread crumbs, some more chopped onions and the leaves and mix it nicely.
  • Also add the egg into it and mix.
  • Now keep it in fridge for 1/2 an hour.
  • Make tikkis and roll it in the bread crumbs and again keep it in fridge for 10 mins.
  • Shallow fry or deep fry till it gets nice golden brown color.
  • Note:- use boneless chicken
