Ingredients

Serves 6

  • Chicken 400grms

  • Potatoes 4

  • Chana dal 2cups

  • Ginger garlic paste 2tsp

  • Turmeric 1tsp

  • Red chilly powder 1tsp

  • Coriander leaves 1/4th cup

  • Mint leaves 1/4th cup

  • Bread crumbs 2 cups

  • Egg 1

Directions

    Wash the chicken and keep them aside.

    Wash the potatoes and peel and cut them into cubes.

  • 03

    Wash the chana dal and keep it aside.

  • 04

    Pressure cook all the three ingredients with salt and turmeric.

  • 05

    Two whistles or till cooked.

  • 06

    Open the lid and again turn on the flame and cook till water evaporates.

  • 07

    Add red chilly powder, ginger garlic paste, chopped onion and cook it.

    When the water evaporates switch of the flame.

  • 09

    Add bread crumbs, some more chopped onions and the leaves and mix it nicely.

    Also add the egg into it and mix.

  • 11

    Now keep it in fridge for 1/2 an hour.

    Make tikkis and roll it in the bread crumbs and again keep it in fridge for 10 mins.

    Shallow fry or deep fry till it gets nice golden brown color.

    Note:- use boneless chicken
