1 cup curd
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
3/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 pinch heeng
1 tsp chilli-ginger paste
1 tsp salt
For tempering..1 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 green chilly
6-8 curry leaves
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Beat curd,water and gram flour into a smooth batter
Put this mixture in microwave safe bowl and microwave at 80% power for 4-5 mins.
Mix salt,turmeric powder, heeng,chilly ginger paste and microwave at 80% power for 4-5 mins. or till it thickens.Stir in between.
When this mixture thickens spread it as a thin film in a thick polythene sheet with the help of a flat- bottom bowl.Allow to cool and cut out 1"×6" broad strips.Rill the strips and arrange on the serving dish.
To prepare tempering put oil in the microwave safe bowl.Microwave at 100% power for 30 secs.Add mustard seeds, green chilly,curry leaves and microwave at 100% power for 2-3 mins.
Sprinkle this tempering on khandvi and garnish it with coriander leaves
