Ingredients

Serves 3

  • 1 bowl split black gram lentils

  • 2 tablespoons split green lentils

  • 2 tablespoons chickpeas

  • 2 tablespoons yellow pulses

  • 1 onion

  • 2 green chillies

  • 1 inch ginger

  • 100 gram cabbage

  • 1 carrot

  • 500 mililitre oil to deep fry

  • 1.5 teaspoon Salt to taste

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper powder

  • 1 teaspoon green coriander leaves

Directions

    Wash and soak all the lentils for 2 hours

    Then grind into thick smooth paste

    Add all the finely chopped vegetables

  • 04

    Add chopped ginger,green chillies and coriander leaves

    Add salt and pepper

    Mix well

    Now give the shape of vade

  • 08

    Deep fry in hot oil at medium flame till golden

  • 09

    Serve hot with tomato dip
