Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 2 tbsp butter


  • 200g Paneer cubed


  • 2 tbsp cream


  • 13/4 cup tomatoes pureed


  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste


  • 1 teaspoon crushed kasuri methi


  • 1 teaspoon garam masala


  • 1 bay leaf


  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds


  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder


  • 1-2 green chillies finely chopped


  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • 1 medium onion finely chopped


  • 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan and saute paneer until golden brown on sides. Remove paneer and keep it aside
  • In same pan, add butter
  • Add bay leaf and cumin seeds. Allow cumin seeds to crackle
  • Add onions, green chillies and saute until golden brown
  • Add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw aroma disappears
  • Add spice powders and mix well
  • Add tomato puree and salt,mix well. cook until raw taste disappears
  • Add cream and crushed kasuri methi. Mix well
  • Add paneer and cook for 2 minutes
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve warm with roti or pulao
