Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 3 packs of babycorn cut in lenght wise


  • 3 onions diced/chopped


  • 4 tablespoon conflour


  • 2 tablespoon pepper powder


  • 1 tablespoon salt


  • 1 cup oil


  • 2 big capsicum chopped


  • 1 tablespoon soya sauce


  • 1 tablespoon red chilly sauce


  • 4 tablespoon tomato sauce


  • 1 tablespoon veniger optional


  • 1 tablespoon red chilly powder


  • 2 to 3 dried red chilly/flakes


  • 1 small ginger


  • 5 garlic cloves chopped


  • 2 curry leaves stem

Directions

  • In a bowl add conflour or plain flour, salt, pepper powder and mix with water
  • Batter should be running consistency, dip this cut babycorn in batter and deep fry them
  • After they turn golden brown transfer them onto tissue paper to remove excess oil
  • In other pan add oil and saute ginger and garlic cloves later add curry leaves, dried red chilly and fry them
  • Now add onions and add little salt and saute for a minute don't over cook
  • Meanwhile in a bowl add water, tomato sauce, soya sauce, red chilly sauce, veniger as veniger and tomato sauce taste sour adjust the quantity
  • Now add capsicum and saute them well
  • Meanwhile prepare conflour slurry by adding conflour and water to thicken sauce
  • After sauting capsicum add prepared sauce mixture, salt, red chilly powder and let it boil
  • Now add conflour slurry to thicken sauce and boil for a minute
  • Add fried babycorn and saute for a minute and garnish with coriander
  • Goes well with any soup😉
