Kerala Chicken Fry

Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Chicken -4 pieces

  • Small onion - 5 nos

  • Chilly powder - 1 tsp

  • Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp

  • Coriender powder - 1 tsp

  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 1/2 tsp

  • Hung curd - 3 tsp

  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp

  • Salt - 2 tsp

  • Oil - 2 tbsp

  • Onion (small) - 1/2chopped

  • Curry leaves - 1 tbsp

Directions

    1. Take a large pieces of chicken and make a cut in pieces

    2. Grind the onion into paste.

    3. Add all the ingredients mix with chicken.

    4 add required salt

  • 05

    Mix well. Make sure chicken coated with masalas.

    Marinate the chicken for alleast 6 hours.

    After 6 hours. Place the chicken in pressure cooker.

    Cook the chicken pieces . Switch off the flame before you hear the first whistle.

    Open the cooker once the pressure calms down.

    Meanwhile heat a frying pan. pour 2 tbsp oil

  • 11

    Once the oil heated place the chicken and fry for 10 mins

  • 12

    Fry chopped onion and curry leaves in the same oil

  • 13

    Garnish the friend chicken with fried onion and curry leaves.

    Kerala chicken fry is ready
