Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 4 ripe tomatoes


  • 1 onion for garnish finely chopped


  • 1 cup soaked matar(soak overnight and boil)


  • 2 to 3 boiled potatoes


  • 2 tablespoon oil


  • 1 teaspoon jeera powder


  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder


  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder


  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala powder


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon red chilly powder


  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • 1 bunch finely chopped coriander


  • 1 teaspoon sweet chutney(optional)


  • 1 teaspoon green chutney(optional)

Directions

  • In a pan add oil when it js heated add tomatoes to it
  • Add little salt, turmeric powder and allow to cook
  • After tomatoes turn mushy add all powders
  • That is jeera, dhaniya, garam masala, chaat masala, salt and red chilly powder
  • Saute for a minute and add boiled and mashed potatoes and saute for a minute
  • Now add over night soaked and boiled matar make sure tomatoes are in large amount than matar
  • Saute for 2 minutes and transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with onions finely chopped and coriander
  • I personally don't prefer any chutney so I didn't add if you wish you can
