Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 3 ripe tomatoes


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon red chilly powder


  • 2 to 3 cups of water


  • 1 tablespoon seasoning(mustard, jeera, hing)


  • 2 dried red chilly


  • 3 tablespoon oil


  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • 1 bunch finely chopped coriander

Directions

  • In a pan add oil after it is heated add seasoning
  • When they start splattering add turmeric powder, dried red chilly and hing
  • Now add tomatoes which are cut length wise
  • Add little salt and allow to cook
  • When they start to release oil add adequate amount of water, salt, red chilly powder and allow to boil
  • When it ia done add finely chopped coriander and serve hot with rice
  • Many of them have this directly as it ia good for digestion
