In a pan add oil after it is heated add roughly chopped tomatoes, onions and salt
They turn mushy transfer them into mixer jar and make fine paste
Now in other pan add oil and add bay leaves, peppercons, cinnamon stick, cardamom shah jeera, cloves and saute for a minute
Now add finely chopped onions and saute it
Add tomato puree and let it cook for 2 minutes
Later it starts releasing oil now add jeera, coriander, garam masala powder and turmeric
Saute for a minute so that masala is fried
Now add adequate salt (check before we already added in tomato paste and onions) and red chilly powder
Now add cooked rice and mix well and cover with a lid for 2min
Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with coriander and papad
