Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Chicken mince-300gms, Deradun basmati rice(soaked)-3/4 cup, garlic paste-1tsp, ginger paste-1tsp, Green chillies chopped 2-3, black pepper crushed 10-12, salt to taste, soya sauce-1tsp, spring onion greens chopped, fresh coriander leaves 1tbsp(chopped), pinch of saffron

Directions

  • Combine minced chicken,soya sauce, salt, crushed peppercorns,ginger& garlic paste,spring onion greens in a bowl & mix well.
  • Heat sufficient water in a steamer & grease it with butter.
  • Spread soaked Rice on a bowl.Dampen your palms & devide the chicken mixture into small equal portions shaped into balls.Coat them with the rice.Sprinkle the saffrons on the rice balls.
  • Place the prepared dumplings inside the steamer.Cover & steam them for 10 mints or till the chicken & rice is fully cooked.
  • Serve hot with sweet chilly sauce.
