Kiwi Fruit Salad /Christmas Tree Fruit salad

Make this healthy fruit platter salad in the form of Christmas tree to bring some fun along with nutrition    Kids are always fussy while eating fruits especially kiwis, so I have prepared a healthy and delicious version in the form of fruit salad.  In this platter fresh Kiwi fruit slices are stacked with pomegranate kernels to give appeal to the fruit salad.

Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 4 fresh kiwis washed, peeled and sliced


  • 2 tablespoon red pomegranate kernels


  • 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala


  • 2 tablespoons Dessicated coconut


  • 1/2 teaspoon small silver and colorful balls


  • 1 wooden chopstick


  • 2 tablespoon coriander leaves


  • 2 pinches salt


  • 1 Apple cut horizontally into 2 halves


  • 2 pinches cinnamon powder to dust.

Directions

  • Gather all the ingredients
  • Firstly keep half cut apple on the plate and insert a wooden chopstick.
  • Arrange the kiwi slices on the chopstick one by one as shown in the pic .
  • Place big slices first then smaller slices as we proceed upwards.
  • Spread the coconut at the base of the tree to give the snow effect.
  • Arrange pomegranate kernels and coriander leaves as you like or as shown in the pic to depict the Christmas theme.
  • Now carve a small star from the other part of the apple and place on top of the kiwi tree.
  • Sprinkle the silver balls and colorful balls and coconut.
  • Sprinkle salt, cinnamon powder and chaat masala just before serving.
  • Healthy and delicious Christmas tree fruit salad is ready to serve.
  • Good tip -all fruits should be washed thoroughly before arranging.
