Description

This is a traditional salad dish in Russian cuisine, Kids and elderly people love colourful dishes and this Salad recipe is full of colours, antioxidants, minerals and energy from mayonnaise and cream, calcium from curd. Kids who don't like to eat raw salads and veggies will just get attracted.  It can be given at any time of the day

Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 cup french beans


  • 2 cups of mixed vegetables (carrot, green peas, potatoes) each chopped


  • 2 apples chopped, cubed


  • 1 small cucumber chopped /cubed


  • 1 small cucumber sliced longitudinally


  • 1 small capsicum chopped finely


  • 2 tablespoons fresh cream


  • 1 cup mayonnaise eggless


  • 1/2 cup thick fresh curd (beaten)


  • 1 head lettuce or cabbage leaves


  • 1/4 th teaspoon salt or to taste


  • 2 pinches sugar or to taste (very little)


  • 1/2 teaspoon Freshly grounded Black pepper powder or to taste

Directions

  • First of all gather all the ingredients.
  • Chop the vegetables and parboil them in a microwave.
  • Chop and slice the apple and cucumber.
  • Mix the fruits and vegetables and add salt and pepper.
  • Mix mayonnaise and cream, sugar and curd thoroughly with vegetables.
  • Mix well so that all veggies and fruits get combined.
  • Line a salad bowl with salad leaves/lettuce and Pile the salad in the centre.
  • Decorates with slices of apples, cucumber and grated carrot.
  • Serve cold yummy and healthy Russian salad to your loved ones.
