To prepare the batter, mix maida, egg, and salt in a bowl. Add water slowly and mix well with a beater spoon until no lumps are found. (The consistency should be dosa batter).
Heat a non-stick pan and pour one ladle full of batter and spread the batter in a round motion. Cook for 2 minutes on medium flame. The pancake is ready.
Heat oil in a pan add chopped onion and saute till the onion turn to light brown. Add ginger, garlic and green chilly saute till the raw smell goes off; then add the chilly powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and saute till raw smell goes off.
Next, add chopped tomato & saute till they become soft. Sprinkle enough salt and mix well.
Add beaten egg to the masala and scramble it well and make a dry masala. Switch off the flame and keep it aside.
Put some filling into a pancake and roll it tightly. Repeat the same process with all the remaining pancakes and egg filling.
