Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • Split moong dal 1 cup


  • Chopped cucumber 1 tablespoon


  • Chopped tomato 1 tablespoon


  • Chopped carrot 1/2 tablespoon


  • Mint leaves 1/2 tablespoon


  • Salt and chilly according to taste


  • Chat masala 1 teaspoon


  • Lime juice 1 tablespoon


  • Sesame seeds 1/2 tablespoon


  • Garam masala 1 teaspoon


  • Turmeric powder 1/3 teaspoon


  • Cottage cheese cubes 1 tablespoon

Directions

  • First cook dal adding salt and turmeric till it softens bit. keep aside to cool bit.
  • Now when dal cools down add all other ingredients one by one and keep tossing lightly.
  • Garnish with carrot wedges and lemon slices. Serve it warm. it tastes best.
  • Yummy and delicious salad is ready to give energy to body.
