Ingredients

  • Split moong dal 1 cup

  • Chopped cucumber 1 tablespoon

  • Chopped tomato 1 tablespoon

  • Chopped carrot 1/2 tablespoon

  • Mint leaves 1/2 tablespoon

  • Salt and chilly according to taste

  • Chat masala 1 teaspoon

  • Lime juice 1 tablespoon

  • Sesame seeds 1/2 tablespoon

  • Garam masala 1 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/3 teaspoon

  • Cottage cheese cubes 1 tablespoon

Directions

    First cook dal adding salt and turmeric till it softens bit. keep aside to cool bit.

    Now when dal cools down add all other ingredients one by one and keep tossing lightly.

    Garnish with carrot wedges and lemon slices. Serve it warm. it tastes best.
